Getting started
The campaign is a war across the whole map. Nations raise armies, make pacts and declare wars on the Interactive Map, and every war is settled by real battles fought in the game.
Who does what
- Leader runs the nation. Every order on the map is theirs to give.
- Map delegates are members the leader trusts with part of the job: moving armies, raising and disbanding, war and peace, pacts and deals, building and trade, or speaking in #diplomacy. The leader names them on the perms panel (Map delegate).
- Deputy takes over the nation if the leader gives no orders for 3 turns.
- Soldiers fight the nation's battles. You must be bound to a nation to fight for it (see Diplomacy Battles).
Turns
- There are two turns a week. A turn ends at midnight New York time going into Saturday and going into Monday.
- When a turn ends, every nation collects its income and pays its upkeep.
- Everything else runs on the clock: armies march, provinces are taken and battles are fought in real time, not at the end of the turn.
New leaders, read in this order
- The Map, then Economy and Armies, then Diplomacy, War, Diplomacy Battles and Warscore and Peace. Read the Campaign Rules before your first war.
