Getting started
How to get into your first battle, in three steps.
Medieval Kingdoms has no queue and no server list to click into. You reach a battle through a nation, and in battle you fight with your company.
1. Join a nation
Pick a nation from the Nations page and join its community server with the link on its page. Most nations take anyone. Choose an active one with people you get on with: you will fight beside them every week.
2. Get a company
Your nation places you in a company of 6 to 40 men. Your commander runs it, gives you your equipment and tells you where to stand. Each company is one of a few types: infantry, men-at-arms, cavalry or skirmishers.
3. Enter the code
Your nation announces its battles in its own server. Just before a battle starts, your commander sends a company code. Type it in the game lobby and you are in, on your side and in your company.
What a battle is like
- About 35 minutes, two nations, one map.
- You fight in formation. A company that holds together holds the ground.
If you said you would come, come. Sides are balanced on the numbers your commander reported, so every missing man makes the battle less fair.
